Blue Light Hybrid Laser Welding Machine for Copper Busbar Spatter-Free Seam

The machine combines a blue laser with a fiber laser inside one composite welding head. The blue beam pre-conditions the surface of copper, aluminium and other reflective metals, and the fiber beam then drives the keyhole. The result is a stable weld pool, clean seam formation and a deeper penetration than any single-wavelength source can deliver on these materials.

• Welding of Highly Reflective Materials - Copper and aluminium reflect the majority of infrared energy at room temperature, which is why conventional fiber welding on busbars and heat sinks is unstable. At 450nm the absorptivity of these metals rises sharply, so the workpiece melts on the first pass without pre-heating, nickel plating or surface roughening. Oxide-free, crack-free joints on 0.5mm foil up to 6mm plate.
• Spatter-Free Welding - The blue beam stabilises the keyhole before the fiber beam arrives, so the weld pool does not collapse and eject droplets. Spatter is reduced to a minimum, which protects fixtures, lenses and adjacent components, cuts post-weld cleaning, and keeps rework and scrap low in continuous production.
• Ultra-High Absorption for Superior Seam Formation and Penetration - Higher absorptivity means more of the delivered energy reaches the melt instead of being reflected away. Operators see a smooth, uniform bead with fine ripples, low porosity and a consistent penetration depth part after part, even at high welding speed.
