Hanwei QCW laser welding machine is developed for manufacturing processes that require a pulsed laser source with substantial peak output while keeping the average laser power at a relatively compact level. The system combines a 1070 nm fiber laser source with a dedicated QCW control architecture, providing a practical solution for repeated metal joining operations.

Instead of relying on continuous high-power laser output, QCW operation delivers laser energy in defined pulses. This operating principle gives manufacturers another way to organize heat input during welding and can be useful when the production process requires a controlled sequence of laser energy rather than continuous irradiation.

The HW-Q series provides two configurations: 150W and 300W laser output. Their corresponding peak powers reach 1500W and 3000W, respectively. This difference between rated laser power and peak power allows the equipment to deliver high instantaneous energy while maintaining a comparatively compact laser source configuration.

The QCW system uses a compact air-cooled structure, making it easier to incorporate into laser welding equipment, automated stations, or application-specific machinery where installation space needs to be considered.
