The HW-AMB-ECO laser welding solution represents a cutting-edge laser welding technology, with its core mechanism lying in the simultaneous application of an outer ring laser beam and an inner spot laser beam. This combined approach ensures more even heat distribution and superior welding quality.

Conventional laser welding frequently runs into issues when localized heat on the workpiece becomes excessive, including welding deformation, porosity, and cracks. The HW-AMB, however, acts like a meticulous engineer, refining heat distribution through multi-point heating. This results in balanced thermal spread, reduced welding stress, and workpieces that are far less prone to deformation. The resulting welds are both visually appealing and structurally robust, free from cracks or pores—boasting both exceptional weld strength and a high-end surface finish.

The HW-AMB laser delivers more consistent and steady welding outcomes. The outer ring beam preheats the workpiece and stabilizes the molten pool, while the central spot beam handles deep penetration welding, yielding weld seams without porosity or spatter.

HW-AMB stands for Adjustable Mode Beam. Hanwei Laser has dedicated years to researching and developing the AMB laser beam welding system.

In the HW-AMB-ECO model, the laser beam's core and ring are fixed and non-adjustable, with the AMB laser core measuring 50um-100um.

Minor variations in the light spot occur as the focal length changes. The HW-AMB-ECO laser beam is focused onto the workpiece surface via an optical system, forming outer ring and inner spot laser beams: The outer ring emits low-power density laser energy, primarily functioning to stabilize the molten pool and minimize spatter; the inner spot delivers high-power density laser energy, mainly used for deep penetration welding.
