The Starship fiber laser welding machine is built around a unique ring laser design: an outer ring beam and an inner core beam are delivered to the workpiece at the same time. The ring preheats the material and stabilises the molten pool, while the core beam performs deep penetration welding. This dual-beam structure is what makes spatter-free, high-speed welding possible on any metal and any thickness.
