This semiconductor laser welding machine is built for mould repair shops, tool rooms and precision metal workshops that need repeatable micro spot welding without the running cost of a flash lamp system. The cavity is housed in a compact bench-top cabinet, so the machine fits into an existing workstation instead of requiring a dedicated room.

The laser cavity, power supply and water chiller are integrated into one small footprint cabinet with a short optical path. Fewer optical joints and a sealed cavity reduce dust ingress, so the machine keeps its output stability across years of daily production shifts.

Semiconductor side-pumped design converts electrical energy into laser output far more efficiently than lamp pumped YAG systems, which cuts power consumption and heat load.

The homogenised beam profile gives an even energy density across the spot, which produces a flat, round weld nugget with consistent penetration. Operators no longer need to chase hot spots on thin walls, sharp edges or small mould inserts.

Four independent output modes are available on the same machine: QCW for high peak power spot welding, PWM for controlled average power on thin sheet, CW for continuous seam work, and a modulated mode for heat sensitive parts. Every mode carries a built-in soft rise and soft fall ramp, so the pulse starts and ends gradually. This suppresses spatter, cracking and thermal shock on hardened steel and thin metal, and it protects the workpiece when welding near finished surfaces.
