The HW-AMB-ECO laser welding solution is an advanced laser welding technology, whose core working principle relies on the simultaneous use of an outer ring laser beam and an inner spot laser beam. This combined method ensures more uniform heat distribution and better welding quality.
Traditional laser welding often encounters problems when the local heat on the workpiece is too high, such as welding deformation, porosity, and cracks. The HW-AMB, however, works like a precise engineer, optimizing heat distribution through multi-point heating. This leads to balanced heat spread, reduced welding stress, and workpieces that are much less likely to deform. The resulting welds are not only visually attractive but also structurally strong, without cracks or pores—possessing both excellent weld strength and a high-quality surface finish.
The HW-AMB laser produces more consistent and stable welding results. The outer ring beam preheats the workpiece and stabilizes the molten pool, while the central spot beam is responsible for deep penetration welding, creating weld seams free of porosity and spatter.

In the HW-AMB-ECO model, the core and ring of the laser beam are fixed and non-adjustable, with the AMB laser core ranging from 50um to 100um.

The HW-AMB-ECO laser beam is focused on the workpiece surface through an optical system, forming outer ring and inner spot laser beams: The outer ring emits laser energy with low power density, mainly used to stabilize the molten pool and reduce spatter; the inner spot delivers laser energy with high power density, primarily applied for deep penetration welding.
