The Starship AMB Laser Welder is a high-end intelligent welding equipment jointly launched by Hanwei Laser, featuring Adjustable Mode Beam (AMB) technology with center beam and annular beam dual-light-source collaboration. The high-intensity center beam handles deep-penetration welding forming the main weld seam, while the annular beam surrounds the periphery stabilizing the molten pool dynamics, effectively suppressing spatter, cracking, and porosity formation. AMB Adjustable Mode Beam technology is the core competitive advantage of this equipment. Compared with traditional single-beam laser welding, AMB technology preheats the molten pool edges through annular beam, effectively reducing molten pool surface tension gradient and stabilizing liquid metal flow, fundamentally suppressing spatter generation. Test data shows that AMB mode copper welding reduces spatter by over 95%, with weld porosity below 0.3% and weld strength reaching over 85% of base material. The equipment supports independent adjustment of center/annular beam power, allowing operators to flexibly optimize parameter combinations according to material characteristics. Combined with intelligent welding control systems, the equipment can store 500+ process parameter sets, achieving one-button calling and production data traceability.
